JROTC
MISSION & HISTORY.
The Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is a coeducational program intended to motivate high school students to become better citizens. JROTC is modeled after the military structure in order to infuse in its student cadets a sense of discipline and order.

The Eastwood High School JROTC program (The Trooper Battalion) was established in 1964. Since that time The Eastwood Trooper Battalion has established a tradition of excellence having been recognized repeatedly and currently as an Army JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction.​

CURRICULUM.
JROTC curriculum is designed to prepare students to take their place in adult society. It is focused on character building and civic responsibility it also includes ethics, citizenship, communications, leadership, life skills, and other subjects.
INSTRUCTORS.
Our dedicated JROTC instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Eastwood JROTC and work tirelessly to guide and mentor our cadets on their leadership journey.
